Deadpool 2 Anticipation

Deadpool is coming to the big screen once again. The critically-acclaimed superhero comedy, Deadpool, focuses on the story of how Wade Wilson, a former special forces operative now mercenary, becomes Deadpool and hunts down the man who changed his life forever. The second one is about how Deadpool forms a team of mutants to protect the

young mutant named Russell from Cable, a time-traveling soldier with telepathic and telekinetic abilities. This film is directed by David Leitch, who is known for the movies Atomic Blonde and John Wick, both commercially and critically successful movies. Ryan Reynolds will be reprising his role as the title character, Josh Brolin will be playing Cable, and Morena Baccarin will be playing Vanessa, Deadpool’s fiance from the first movie.
Due to the success of the first movie, the audience has high hopes for the second film. Hopefully, the sequel can outdo the first one, kind of like in the
Terminator franchise. Personally, I also have high hopes of this sequel. If it doesn’t manage to top the first one, that’s fine, but I still expect a quality film that will be satisfying. I’m expecting an energetic performance Reynolds gave in the first one, with that snarky, yet charming writing as well. I also expect Cable to be quite intimidating, and an even more villainous character than Ajax from the first film. The running time for this film comes just one minute short of two hours, and will be distributed by 20th Century Fox. During the filming, stunt woman Joi “SJ” Harris died in a tragic motorcycle accident and the film will hopefully be dedicated to her memory. Regardless, Deadpool 2 is one of the most anticipated and hyped up movies of the year, and many, including myself, are looking forward to it. Deadpool 2 comes out in theaters on Friday, May 18th. If you’ve seen the first one, encourage yourself to find out what happens in the second one!
