“Infinity War” Movie Review

The new movie, Infinity War is a very popular one.  Marvel Studios bringing together all the heroes of their exciting universe in one whole narrative while delivering an event that is worth eighteen movies in a span of ten years.  Marvel had to balance over 25 characters into the movie in order to create the captivating timed film many had been waiting for.  The movie came out on April 27th, 2018.  It has plenty of humor and lighter moments, but it ultimately goes to places darker than in any previous Marvel movie.  Also, it requires more knowledge of things that have happened in previous Marvel movies than other Avengers films have.  Key characters die, and the villains are much scarier than most Marvel films have presented the world with.  The entire movie is based around defeating “Thanos,” the evil overtaker in the previous Marvel movies, Guardians of The Galaxy and Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2.  Thanos wants to destroy the universe itself, attempting to collect all six “Infinity Stones,” so he can destroy life itself.  Thano’s takes out planet after planet, in hope of changing the way the galaxy is, but doing it all wrong. Marvel seemed to have combined the world’s favorite characters from The Avengers, Dr. Strange, and Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2.

The movie is full of action scenes, over half of the 149 minute movie just being action.  A few moments in the movie are very touchy, when Thanos reunites with his previously adopted daughter Gamora, it is an emotional rollercoaster.  The movie is sure to make people think, especially if they have seen all of the Marvel movies.
