With the sun setting earlier and the air getting brisk fall is right around the corner. Now is your chance to romanticize the season and make your high school fall just like the movies. And at the same time rehash old memories of the season. I know to me, fall represents the cozy warm feeling of friendship and family. Danika Spain says “To me fall represents a time of joy and an easygoing feeling.” Here are some ideas to make the most of this upcoming autumn.
Plan a date with friends or a partner. Whether you’re going out to get a classic pumpkin spice latte, or having a picnic, going on a little date can bring the feeling of fall to you. I encourage checking out local options such as Yagi, Kaffiene Alley, or Urth Caffe. Even if you don’t have the funds for such places you can still do something more DIY. Consider a Picnic, a day at the library, or even the fair.
Go to a Pumpkin patch! A classic fall activity we probably all have memories of. I know when I was little it was a necessity to get pictures at a pumpkin patch every year. Well, this year, those once little kids will be there again with them; this time grown up and with friends of their own. Plan a day to get your friends group together and go. Take pictures and just walk around, or even actually buy a pumpkin. Whatever you do there, it doesn’t matter. Just another way to get into the fall spirit.
Have a movie night. Get together some friends on a frigid fall night and binge-watch some movies. Put on pajamas, gather fall snacks like pumpkin pie, and make a night of it. Either watching an entire series of movies or random ones. Set the fall mood with a candle and blankets. Some movies I recommend are Nightmare Before Christmas, and Baby Driver. Tv shows I recommend are Adventure Time, Gilmore Girls, Friends, and Stranger Things.
I hope these give you some ideas on how to spend this wonderful season, enjoy!
