Give Thanks Pumpkin Mantel
What You Need:
- Small Pumpkins (six of them)
- Spray paint color of your choice
- Sticker Letters (Spelling out the word “Thanks”)
Instructions:
Spray paint each of the pumpkins and leave them to dry for 2-3 hours.Once dry, place the letter T on the first pumpkin, H on the second, A on the third, N on the fourth, K on the fifth and S on the sixth. The pumpkins can be placed on a fireplace, shelf, or table.
Pumpkin Spice Mason Jar Candles
What You Need:
- Small mason jars
- Scissors
- Tape
- 1 lb of candle wax
- Kitchen pot (medium size)
- A pack of candle wick (12 inches)
- Pumpkin spice
- 1/2 a cup of olive oil or walnut oil
Instructions:
Place oil into a pot and let it simmer. Add pumpkin spice and stir. Remove from heat and let it cool. Place the mixture into the jars and infuse for at least 2 days. Cut wax and place in a pot. Make sure the wax is fully melted and cut the candle wick to the length of the mason jar. Add tape to secure it. Pour wax and oil into jar and stir it. Do not pull on the wick and place it in the freezer for 1 hour.
Ombre Pinecones
What You Need:
- Pinecones
- Angled paint brush
- Acrylic paint in 3 shades of the same color
Instructions:
Make sure to wipe the dirt off the pinecones before using them. Start from the bottom of the pinecones using the darkest shade. Only paint ¼ of the pinecone. Paint the next shade on ¼ of the pinecone. Use the lightest shade to paint the top ¼ of the pinecone. Let the pinecones dry for two hours. Place them anywhere to brighten up a room.
