Ever since Lebron James faced a severe injury, the Lakers have had a hard time winning.

Since losing the basketball superstar, they have only won 5 of their last 14 games. If you’ve been following the Lakers for a few seasons now, this is very reminiscent of how the Lakers were last year. They were a young team with no real leader, but now they have Lebron. This goes to show the impact Lebron has had on the young Lakers. They needed a leader, and Lebron became that guy, and losing him has definitely taken a toll on them.

One thing the Lakers also needed was a consistent scorer, which–you guessed it– Lebron James also provides for the team. Without Lebron, they seem lost. Right now they are right outside the door of the playoffs at the 9th seed in the Western Conference.

When Lebron returns, the team  will end somewhere around the 6th or 7th seed. It is doubtful that they will miss the playoffs with such a talented player on their side, because as we all know, Lebron is probably the greatest of all time. Even the young core of Kuzma, Ball, Ingram, and Hart provide a lot for the team. There is no way the Lakers can possibly miss the playoffs this year. If they do, all the moves they made in the off-season were just a huge waste.
