Library Contest: Goals

It’s a new year and a new start! The Canyon library is holding a Goal Setting contest this week to kick off a new year with new goals. The attached goal template should be filled out and dropped off in the Entry Jar at the quad by Friday, January 15th. If you wish to enter the contest online, send your goal to [email protected]. When the winner is picked on Friday, they will receive a $20.00 Starbucks card! Teachers get to participate, too, in their own separate drawing.
Here are some words from our librarian Ms. Fisher on the contest. “I love holding contests in the Library. It helps build enthusiasm. The Goals contest is a way of partnering with the teachers because most of them use goal setting with their classes. It helps support the teachers and also is a way to reinforce the importance of having goals. I really like this contest because school isn’t about academics only. It is also about our students having a healthy outlook in life. The goals for the contest could be personal or academic. So far we have a good mix between personal and academic.”
There you have it! Make sure to get your goals in by Friday. They can be almost anything. Let’s start 2021 with ambition and our eyes set on the future!
