College Football Championship

Since the beginning of the 2018-2019 college football season, it has been Alabama and legendary coach, Nick Saban, versus the world. They were the unbeatable team.

Two undefeated teams who had beat their previous opponents in this year’s playoffs handily walked into the bar. One was the favorite by far, with Heisman finalist, Tua Tagovailoa, running the offense with a top defense behind him. On the other side, was the underdog, the Clemson Tigers, manned by freshman QB, Trevor Lawrence, and a great defense, but would it be enough to knock off the “greatest team ever”?

Just like some sort of Disney sports movie, superstar Tua threw a pick six on the first drive. After that, you could feel the momentum start swinging towards the underdogs. A team of Bama’s level wouldn’t just roll over, with Tagovailoa’s 60 yard touchdown throw to speedy Jerry Jeudy. After that, though, it became the Trevor Lawrence show, as the freshman QB not only had the best hair on the field, but the best arm as well.

In one of the greatest upsets in NCAA football history, the Clemson Tigers killed the Alabama Crimson Tide 44-16.
College football never disappoints.
