The Travis Scott Burger and Beyond

Travis Scott also known as Jacques Berman Webster II, an American rapper, created his own meal at McDonalds called “The Travis Scott Meal”. The Travis Scott Meal is a limited edition combo meal also known as the “Cactus Jack” named after his record label and his adopted nickname. The meal was released on September 8th.

The Travis Scott Meal is $6 and comes with a bacon quarter pounder with cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, ketchup and mustard, and a side of fries with BBQ dipping sauce and a sprite or a drink of your choice. This meal by Travis Scott is technically his “Happy Meal” from McDonalds and will only be sold for a limited amount of time. Unfortunately, not all McDonald restaurants are participating in this “hype” as it was not offered at all locations.

Before McDonalds ,Travis has capitalized on his branding and collaborated successfully with Virgil Abloh, New Era x Houston Astros, Reese’s Puffs, Evisu, Nerf, Fortnite, and Nike. According to CNN, McDonald’s sales are up. The company has seen a 4.6% increase in sales compared to the same time period last year since the TS Meal became available.

According to the NY Post, McDonalds likes what they are seeing and are moving forward with the concept of celebrities and happy meals. McDonalds just announced another deal last week with reggae artist J Balvin. Next month, he will be promoting his favorite meal: a Big Mac, fries and ketchup and an Oreo McFlurry.
