A junior student has been rapping for about a year and a half and released his first EP titled, “OutMyBag” in 2021. High school student, Alan Roth prioritizes his music career over anything else in his life. Sometimes he stays up very late working on a new song even though he has school the next day. His friends Axel and Alex are his producer and manager. Roth even uses all his money for equipment like microphones, headphones, and other technology he requires.

Roth says he gets his inspiration for his lyrics from his struggles and relations to friends and others. This is so his listeners can feel and relate to what he raps about on a personal level. Roth tries to appeal to a certain audience and knows how big of a factor personality is on determining how his audience feels about his music

Throughout his hardships of working all day on something he loves, and not getting the recognition he wants, Alan still pushes through because of his talent and his confidence in his music. His passion for music has helped him mentally cope with everything going on in his life which can be said for many aspiring artists.

Originally, Alan was not confident in telling people that he made music because of how daunting the music industry can be to young and new artists, but eventually his love for his music surpassed his insecurities

Alan Roth is an inspiration to other people at his school, and his friends are inspired and very proud of Alan’s new path. Alan says, “Just start, that way you know what you want to do and what path you want to take once you take it seriously.”
