Deadpool 2 Review

20th Century Fox is back with a Deadpool sequel and provides a lot of humor and action. Ryan Reynolds is still one heck of an actor starting where he left off from the first Deadpool movie, by killing bad guys and being hilarious. The twist in the movie is that Wade Wilson loses his girlfriend to a gunshot and is left heartbroken, right after agreeing to having a child. The first half of the movie was very emotional and showed the true and caring side of Deadpool.

Later on, we are shown the much anticipated X-Force.  Ironically, they were not primarily in the film, as most of the team dies before they even land after skydiving off of a plane, but the star of the team was easily Domino, who is played by Zazie Beetz.  She doesn’t necessarily have a super power, but has very good combat skills and is very “lucky”. Cable was also a very good character, with a well-built backstory and was played by Josh Brolin. Cable is from the future and wants to kill Russell, the antagonist in the film, because he kills Cables family in the future. Russell is a mutant boy, who grew up in the Essex School and is out to get revenge on his headmaster and all of the people from that school because they tortured him. Cable warns Deadpool that Russell goes on a killing rampage in the future after he kills his headmaster. Cables goal is to stop Russell from killing the headmaster to save many lives. Overall, the film is very humorous and is definitely a must see movie if you want to laugh. The movie is rated T so beware, as it is very graphic. Personally, I rate the movie an 8.5/10, I thought the plot was very cheesy but was hilarious.
